In between the day job and, well, life in general, I’ve been working on a paranormal cozy mystery series. Book 1 is The Mark of the Phoenix, focusing on a young anthropology professor with a special birthmark – a phoenix that awakens extrasensory abilities. In this book, Alana and her BFF Haven face the first mystery: the murder of a college student on the hunt for a legendary artifact – Guinevere's crystal ball.
